The infant class painted with positive and negative space today. Miss Erin cut up a placemat with holes in it and they painted with blue and white paint with a paintbrush and their fingers. The mat was peeled off afterwards to show the impressions.

Looking for a hardworking and responsible individual with experience in the field of construction/repairs/property maintenance. We have 2 locations (Whitby/Ajax) that require regular maintenance. Must be available evenings and/or weekends as some of the work cannot be done when the children are in the centers.

The Whitby schoolage and kinder classes had some PA Day fun on Friday. They made moondough by using trial and error experimenting, they measured, planned and made hypotheses of the outcome. The ingredients used flour, baby oil, dish soap, salt and conditioner. Varying amounts of each ingredient were used as they evaluated how much of each changed the dough and they decided whether to use more or less. The salt was added because the children wanted to add a preservative. They also had a tiny plasticine sculpting challenge and made their own individual English muffin pizzas for lunch! Yum!

We will be collecting for Clothing For Humanity at our Christmas Market Pop-Up next weekend! You can't make it to the market? No problem! Bring your old (good condition) clothing to our Whitby location (900 Bonacord Ave) anytime between November 16th-21st.

We added the boxes that my children filled to the load and delivered them all today! Our Apple Tree families donated so much stuff that we had extra bags that we dropped to fill more boxes! All together, we filled roughly 15 boxes! That’s 15 children in hospitals that we will be bringing smiles to!
