I mask in public and continue to be socially responsible, BUT it's bothered me from the start how this coronavirus crisis has been framed with a vaccine coming ...out of operation warp speed as the only solution to end social isolation and the imposition of restrictive measures on the entire global population. A move that has dramatically increased the wealth of the wealthiest among us, I might add, while devastating the lives of millions--physically, psychologically, economically, emotionally. Believing a press release that claims these concoctions will protect everyone without harming anyone is, at best, blind faith and, what's worse, sets ourselves up as dependent beings whose salvation rests with industry sanctioned by government--neither of which will have any liability should something, heaven forbid, go wrong. And what if there are alternatives that don't involve injecting synthetic material into your arm? Why behave so myopically lemming-like about this?
