MORNING ROUTINE . . Create a successful morning routine! I find this to be extremely helpful to get my day going and to start off on the right track. Starting your morning with good energy is very important for productivity. For myself, I start with my morning skincare routine, take my morning vitamins, then I make a Nespresso, stretch, write in my productivity planner (I found a great one at Indigo) and start at it. Find anything that makes you feel energized, relaxed and motivated. #hello2021

HELLO 2021! . . Are we ready! We stepped away for a while (but not from our existing clients) to take some time to re-focus and create way for us and our partnerships to adjust to the ever changing business landscape. We have added some new services we can’t wait to announce, we have updated learning and got our creative juices flowing. ... We hope you have had an amazing Christmas and New Year even through the obstacles we all faced.

We all know 2020 has been rough. What’s something amazing that happened to your or you’re business in the last year though? For us it was helping a handful of small local businesses launch and watching their successes big and small throughout the year. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Traditions! . . . We have so many. Some we have created ourselves over the years, some we’ve carried on from generations. One of my favorites is getting each of the kids a nutcracker each year. Then at our annual Boxing Day party (which we can’t have this year ) we usually let all the little kids pick one to take home. What are some of your favorite traditions over the holidays?

#QOTD On a bad day, there’s always lipstick. . . Who doesn’t love a little inspirational quote once in a while. Mine may seem silly but it’s one I’ve lived by for years and years. It reminds me to always find something in that day that’s positive, things could be worse even if I’m feeling like they couldn’t possibly. Looking out the window, feeling grateful for coffee, having a good pen. Something so little and seemingly insignificant gives me the little kick in the ass I need sometimes.

MY GRANDFATHER I feel like over the years since my Grandpa has passed, I’ve learned so more about him and my respect has grown so much as well. Forever he was just Grandpa Irv, that would tell me funny stories and explore the Kootneys with where he retired. He was like a super hero to me. I knew he flew planes but I didn’t quite understand what that all meant and how important it was. To everyone else he was very respected and accomplished in the RCAF, a Veteran, a Leader an...d so much more. I love learning as much as I can now. I think him often for his service along with the countless others in our country. Every time around this year I get a little bit more emotional when I start thinking about him and all that he’s done and should be recognized for. So Thank-you Grandpa Irv. #lestweforget #rcaf Please click my link in bio for a link to donate to the Poppy Fund !

#TUESDAYTIP WORKSPACE RESET! . . Oh yes, you’re allowed. Take a moment, breathe, RE-organize, do some yoga. Whatever is your reset. Your space isn’t always the physical space, it’s your mind and your energy too. Allow yourself to refocus. I find some of my best ideas flow when I step away for a moment and reset. Sometimes it includes something as simple as changing the photos on my desk to taking a 5 km walk around my community. They both work. Lets find yours.

VIRTUAL . . This has been my office for the last almost year! It’s been difficult at times to adapt to working from home with 3 kids, 3 dogs and a very busy husband whose office is also now at home. But we’ve made it work and we are thriving. We all have our own space to get it done! I have my morning routine to get my environment comfortable which includes a perfect Nespresso, a lit candle, a very tidy area, some music and usually one dog assisting me. (Meet Jersey everyone)... What’s your morning routine to get your day rolling?
