Thursday's in June and July are about to get a whole lot more exciting! Theatre Works has a new class; Intro to Musical Theatre! Read on below for more information on this exciting new class! Do your kids dream of starring in a musical? Or perhaps you recently watched a musical and your kid's interest was piqued? This class will teach students the basics of musical theatre including songs and choreography from current Broadway shows! Taught by Scarlett Bruns, who has starred... in Musical Theatre Internationals productions of Annie, Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella and Mary Poppins among others. Ages 8 -14 Thursdays 6:00pm-7:00pm starting June 7 $175 for 8 weeks Includes a performance for parents on the last day of class Scarlett is only accepting 14 students for this class SIGN UP NOW! LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Our brand new Introduction to Film and Television acting class starts on June 7! Kids and teens ages 10-18 will learn the ins and outs of acting for film and television. Students will learn everything from audition technique and character development to self-taping skills in this 8-week class taught by 25-year film industry veteran Scarlett Bruns. Scarlett has appeared in the hit TV series Supernatural, Smallville, The Killing, The Vampire Diaries, On...ce Upon A Time and Some Assembly Required, to name a few. In addition to her television credits, Scarlett has over 25 films under her belt and has had a hand in casting and producing multiple tv series and films for The Hallmark Channel. After retiring from acting in 2013 Scarlett opened her own talent agency, Leo Management, which has grown to become one of Vancouver's busiest film and television agencies. Ages 10 -18 Thursdays 7:30pm-9:00pm starting June 7 $225 for 8 weeks Students receive copies of all of their in-class on-camera work!
