Introducing the creator of LOW-HANGING FRUIT, Constantine X. Anastasakis! Constantine X. Anastasakis (he/him) is a Calgary-based actor, playwright, and director, holding a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing (‘14) and an MFA in Directing (‘19) from the University of Calgary. Product of Bonnidale was Constantine’s first foray into short filmmaking; the experience was exciting, challenging, and came with a steep learning curve. Constantine would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cannibale in Bridgeland for allowing him the use of their space; to the actors involved in the project (Connor Williams, Niah Anastasakis, Troy Couillard, Madeleine Hunter Smith, and Ryan Eaid) for their time and talent; and to Theatre BSMT for the opportunity to create a little chaos in the world of Bonnidale!

Last but not least, we are thrilled to introduce the final piece that you can discover in Bonnidale, LOW-HANGING FRUIT ‘Product of Bonnidale' follows amateur wine-enthusiast, Oliver Constantine, on an episode of his as-of-yet unreleased budget-wine review podcast entitled 'Low-Hanging Fruit', where he reviews a mysterious, sparsely-labeled wine delivered by mistake to a local bar. Oliver becomes obbsessed with the wine, but failing to find any information about the winery or ...where to purchase another bottle, Oliver returns to the bar where the bartender invites him to an exclusive staff tasting hosted by the winery. After a series of off-putting coincidences (that he can’t be sure aren’t the result of a gradual decent back into a COVID-induced alcoholism,) Oliver is the only one to show up to the tasting, only to find out that the staff weren’t there to taste the wine See more
