This Thankful Thursday, we'd like to thank St. Jerome Catholic Elementary School for hosting a Thanksgiving food drive for the Aurora Food Pantry. The school filled a pick-up truck with food donations for families in need! Thank you SJE for your generosity.

Thank you to the Aurora Farmers' Market & Artisan Fair for collecting donations for the Aurora Food Pantry! The market is open today and every Saturday in October.

On October 16, Kraft Canada - what's cooking is launching #KHPantryDay. When you purchase one of the participating products on Kraft Heinz Pantry Day, Kraft Heinz Canada will match that purchase with a donation to Food Banks Canada, which supports the Aurora Food Pantry. A special thank you to St. John Ambulance York Region for organizing today’s food drive. They raised over $800 and filled an ambulance and a half with food for the Aurora Food Pantry thanks to the generous donations from our great community.

This Thankful Thursday we'd like to thank Gibson Building Supplies for their generous donation! Earlier this summer they donated $1 to local food banks and charities for every social media LIKE they received in their #GibsonGivesBack campaign. They raised $13,000, $1,860 of which was donated to the Aurora Food Pantry.

Wow! And this is in addition to the Rogers Family generously donating $20 million to Food Banks Canada earlier this month. That donation will be shared with food banks across Canada, including the Aurora Food Pantry. Thank you, Rogers! #ForwardTogether

Not only do they provide an essential service and keep our residents safe every day, they also give back to the community they serve.
