If you are looking for a new reading challenge for 2021 that supports Canadian and diverse authors can we suggest this one from The Festival of Literary Diversity? https://thefoldcanada.org/webinars-a/the-reading-challenge/
An interesting read on "audio books" https://time.com/5388681/audiobooks-reading-books/
We launched The Authors Book Club a year ago! Our goal was to bring authors & readers together. We're deeply grateful to everyone who helped reimagine what we could do once we were no longer able to meet f2f. We took a moment to reflect on the past year & share our plans moving forward. Happy New Year, everyone! bit.ly/3o1W3L3
I have long credited Enid Blyton with the first book I loved as a child, and I read many of her books in the U.K. I found this article interesting reading and it raises a valid point. Adults often sentimentalize the fiction of their youth. Time to give new (Canadian) authors as gifts, IMHO. https://www.independent.co.uk//enid-blyton-50-years-annive
