Due to unforeseen personal circumstances. I will no longer be able to assist anyone or accept any donations for the autumn drive. Thank you everyone for your kindness and generosity it made everything we had achieved possible . Can’t thank everyone enough. We did end up making a huge impact for the time we did assist the homeless and low income families.

When you look at me begging for change, shaking your head in disapproval - you see a ‘dirty bum’ You don’t see me losing my wife and both my sons to a house fir...e, being held back from running back in because their bodies were already singed. A memory that blazes through my broken heart every single day. When you look at me on the side of the road drinking mouthwash and hairspray, You don’t see how it keeps me from feeling hungry and it keeps me from getting cold As I pack all my belongings on the park bench for yet another night, because I sacrificed ever searching for another glimpse of hope. When you look at me lined up at the salvation army with worn-out clothes, you see a dirty Indian You don’t see my parents crying faces as they stripped me away from them as a baby Changed my name Told them I was dead And sent me an entire country away to a white community to be sure I would NEVER find them again And never, ever did When you look at me raging on hastings street, punching the air Screaming out my desperation and despair You call me crazy; you say I’m sick You don’t see the residential schools And how I was raped as a young boy with hockey sticks You don’t see the needles they stuck into my tongue Or the smell of decaying bodies as the priests and nuns Burned the babies alive The ‘bastards’, ‘abominations’, born of sin Because they were created from rape of innocent little children So they killed them When you look at me a prostitute, calling over vehicles for sex You release a sigh of disgust and pity You don’t see how my uncle pimped me out at the age of 3 How I was sold for sex until I was 13 You don’t see all the family members that ‘purchased’ my underdeveloped body Or how I had to at least give them head Or I’d receive the beating of a lifetime, punched nearly to dead Till I could finally run away But until I can find a job, I sell sex to pay for a place to stay Most of all When you look at me you don’t see YOU And how WE - we are the EXACT. SAME. How all it takes is one wrong moment; ONE time or place ONE. SINGLE. MOMENT. To change your entire mentality. To see why I spend my days drinking my pain away to understand why I need to be high To endure this soul shattering, heart-wrenching life. So the next time you look at me, I hope you see more than a bum, a prostitute on drugs I hope you see I could’ve been just like you If I had the blessing of a life without torture and abuse &I hope you see That I .....am you. HELLO EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS Just an update I’m only able to offer assistance to the homeless and venerable (on low or no incomes) in Hamilton,on from now on. I can no longer assist in Brantford,on due to not having any transportation(I have moved and am independently running this mission now) but that won’t stop me and this mission completely. This is a donation based non-profit in order for me to help these people we need donations of gently used or new clothing , food items (fresh or non-perishable), hygiene items and anything you think can help out someone in need . I’m also accepting new toys /gently used toys in new condition. Children’s clothing . I have a few families who have already contacted me in need of help for them and their children due to being on a low income.
