Dark Sky Festival - Aug 2020 "Suspended" It is with a sad heart that I am advising that the organizing committee for the Dark Sky Festival has agreed that it is in the best interest of everyone for us to "suspend" our event for this year. "Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, the organizers of the Dark Sky Festival have decided to suspend our plans to host the 2020 Dark Sky Festival event. If circumstances improve, we may consider sponsoring a "scaled-down version" o...f the event. Please check for updates." The organizers acknowledge that we may revisit this decision (spring / early summer) if situations regarding social-distancing and the assembly of gatherings improve and, where in our opinion, any significant risk relating to the spread of the virus has been mitigated.
