My face watching all these influencers in shops posting on all their social media pretending to be taking all necessary precautions or going above and beyond for their community I would be ashamed to say that your putting community over your pocket book, Because your not. Everything most shops are doing is a bare minimum GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT!!! ... The document we were given from public health had mandatory requirements and extra options and clearly says adjust as needed to suit your shop! When Moncton had cases spike over thanksgiving we decided to remove beard trims from our service menu ...that was October 13th. Since then we have not done a single one . Why not? Because we care about our community and the town we’re in . We care about the well-being of our home , because at the end of the day the amount in your bank account can’t help someone hooked up to a ventilator!! Stop thinking with your cheque book, think about human lives and your impact on your community , and accept for goddamn responsibility. It’s not bound to happen or something we should all expect now . As a business owner you have a responsibility to your town , your community provide a safe environment where they KNOW they will be safe ! Why support a business who won’t accept their responsibilities as a part of the community ! Just a FYI for all of you who come to me for beard trims, we have temporarily paused beard trims . With the resurgence in New Brunswick and our commitment to keep our community a safe place to be , we figured its the least we can do !
