Okay okay.. now we really do have a phone that works and almost everything is set up!!yay!
Well... unfortunately, I have misplaced my work phone. I brought it home, put it in its usual spot and that spot ate it. If you need me please message me via the booking program or message me here!
My favorite girl, Ruby, would like everyone to know that we are currently booking for June 9th. I am strongly suggesting that people go on a prebooked schedule so that you are guaranteed a spot when you need it. This does NOT mean you can't cancel or move an appointment if necessary! Gosh Ruby may be even more cute with short ears!
Look down in the dugout It's a duck It's a deer. Its SuperDog! Dirtier than the swamp itself... More smelly than anything else Makes you run away from the smell faster than you've ever run before SUPER DOG!! also shown is her incognito stylings... Yes we are killing ourselves laughing!!
With my shop getting busier I am going to start asking everyone to go on a prebooked schedule. Why? Because I want to make sure you all get in when you need too, especially for my long term regular clients. This does not mean that the schedule can not change but it does mean that you have a guaranteed spot. Which is important to me. Please send me a message if youd like to get that started!... Large and extra large breeds will have to be on a minimum of a 3 month schedule. This is to save me and my bathers body as well as your dog. It is very hard on them to be forced to stand on my tables for so long
Bear and Blizzard.. or is it just a very long dog?? Who's to know! All done and pretty!
Can you find the Great Pyrenees ??? Danielle and I had quite the day working on Bear and Blizzard!
Making the best of a poopy situation!! We were told we wouldnt be affected by a schedule power outage in south cooking lake. Obviously they were wrong.. haha. I finished an adorable aussie just before lights went out. ... Now I am working on some handstripped Border Terriers by window light!
Want a little fun?? I'd love for one of my clients or even from my community that's artsy to be able to put a fun spin on the new currently ugly and plain wall in my shop! So!! Message me if you are interested in doing a mural on this wall. There are 2 items I would like to incorporate - a mirror and I'd like the center of the door to be painted with black chalk. I am in the process of prepping the wall so as soon as it has primer on it, it is all yours to decorate! ... Bonus if it incorporates the history of our amazing building. You can come inspect the wall to see what youd like to do. All drawings must be submitted and a panel of judges (aka.. the rest of my facebook following!) will decide!
When you do something fun and new. I love working on Francine as dad let's me do whatever I would like.. right now we are growing out tassle ears, donut moustache, and poms in legs and tail. Ohhhh I cant wait to perfect this. Thanks miss francine for being such an understanding critter.
Lets talk about puppies, baby.. Lets talk about you and puppy, honey. Okay! so seriously, lets talk about puppies. Everyone seems to be getting puppies, including myself!. I am loving all the puppies coming in.. just LOVING it. But... ... the but.. Puppies need a slow introduction to grooming - no matter the breed. Even a short coated breed benefits from an early introduction! I am a very scary person with my nail clippers, brushes, water/shampoo - oh my!, scissors and clippers - oh dear! Because I am the big bad wolf I love to introduce puppies to myself and the grooming process as slowly as possible. That means starting them out (as soon as they are safely able to) with just a bath and tidy! That includes a bath, dry, brush out, shaping of feet, face, ears and tail, nails and sanitary trim. I then cuddle and love and play with them for a few minutes on the table so that it isn't such a bad place. I also give you a brushing lesson before you go home as well as some homework so that the process next time is as easy as possible. Honestly that usually tuckers them out enough that you will get at least a good 2 hour nap out of them once they are home! I try to book the puppies in again in 2 weeks to a month and we attempt a full groom then. I will tell you right off the hopper that the groom may not be completed because as puppies go - life is scary and puppy drama makes it easier to deal with. IF the puppies are super scared I will offer free daycare for an hour or so a day once a week (even full days if necessary!) just so they can get used to the sights and sounds. It is important to me that these little gaffers enjoy my company, that they feel comfortable enough later on that they can have a snooze on the floor when they are complete. photo credit: 1.dalmation of the interweb.. that heart nose.. oh my! 2+3.
