Congratulations to Melissa Tobin on her successful MSc thesis proposal this afternoon! Melissa is studying how exposure to active transportation infrastructure influences physical activity levels. This research is important because it will answer key urban planning questions about how cycling infrastructure is used, whether it improves health and how municipalities can increase active transportation.
