The Nordegg Community Association is Hosting an OHV poker rally on Sunday September 6, 2020. Registration starts at 10 am and runs till 12 noon. First Hand 30 dollars (per adult), extra hands after 20 each. Leaving from the Nordegg Community Hall.

So...... Was in the Big Horn area last weekend. Great time... fished the big horn river caught some cutty’s rode the trails....but F! Time was ruined by Sunday ...morning loud 70’s country music but wait that wasn’t all....! What really ruined it was the smell of burning garbage. Looking at the camp site just 50yards beside ours well the families there were putting garbage bags directly on the fire! So I went over and ....... well you can guess what I might have said to the group! They put out the fire and dug out the garbage. Then after that another group left. We looked over at the site and noticed a huge amount of garbage piled in their fire pit. Well we cleaned it up after they had already made their way out! Thanks to the group of girls and their kids that they are teaching how to be stewards of the land for leaving 2 bags of garbage behind! Our wives loved cleaning up after you. Ps you left receipts behind I hope you stay in Red Deer and out of our back country! Also the fish and wildlife that cruise the area need to stop in and discuss the way the freedom camping in Alberta WORKS! It should not be our job. Take in BRING the FUCK out! Maybe it’s just me. Otherwise great trip!

Golf Course This 18-hole golf course is located about 8kms north of Caroline. There is camping at the course. Canyon Creek Golf Course This 9-hole golf course is about 18 kms northeast of Rocky Mountain House. There is camping at the course. Nordegg Historic Golf Course This 9-hole golf course was first built in 1916. The course is set in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Pine Hills Golf Club This 18-hole golf course is about 11 kms northwest of Rocky Mountain House. Each course has beautiful views with fun and challenging holes.
