Let's keep talking pop-ups, shall we? On Monday November 26th from 5 to 11pm, The Bellevue will be showcasing two of Toronto's top chefs in a food battle that you just can't miss! As Executive chef at The Windsor Arms, The Prince of Wales, Monsoon and Rain, Michael Pataran has some serious food experience. Add to that resume accolades such as Chef and GM of the award winning Shogun Revolver Restaurant in The Bahamas and Certified Sake Professional to his credentials and you ...have a serious contender. As a preclude to his Robata Yakatori Bar, Michael has started a successful and highly anticipated series of pop-up throw-downs against Steve Song from K-Song Korean Tacos. Steve Song is an accomplished pastry chef in Toronto with over 20 years of experience. To put it lightly, Steve loves Toronto. He has worked as pastry chef at some of Toronto’s top restaurants including Zoom Bar and Café, Canoe, Oro, Mildred Pierce and Senses Soho Metropolitan Hotel. Some of his international experience has taken him to New York, working at Daniel, Cascabel, La Cote Basque and Mesa Grill. Steve is now focusing on his passion for Korean Style Tacos with a pop-up business called K-Song Korean Tacos. He will surely be one tough contestant. This is event is cash only and we will be keeping the party going until last call. See you there.
