To our favourite community: We regret to tell you that we had to make the difficult decision to close down Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s effective immediately until further notice. This time has been difficult for everyone in our beloved community and we hope to have better news for you soon. ... We will continue to have our doors open, serving you during our usual business hours Thursday - Sunday. Our new seasonal menu & brunch still awaits you. Friends!!!! We are excited to announce that our Bread & Bottle program is BACK!! We started this takeout-option back in March and due to popular demand (and tighter restrictions) we are bringing it back!! ... The order: a loaf of fresh, local sourdough bread and a bottle of Bench1775 Groove Red or Chill White combination, available for pickup here in Fort Langley! We are also offering ’The Bench Bundle’ which includes a loaf of sourdough, a bottle of red or white wine, sliced artisanal charcuterie, triple cream brie & garlic truffle butter for the ultimate spread! HELLOOOOO!!!! Can it get any better than that? Get your order in before 2pm on Monday for pickup on Thursday between 4pm - 8pm. Place your order on our website under the ‘ORDER’ tab at the top of the page! *We recommend using your laptop or desktop for the best experience, or if you’re on mobile, turn your phone to the side to see all the options for ordering! Friends and foodies, We wanted to send a little update about how we've been managing since covid and re-opening our doors. First things first: we are beyond grateful for this community we get to call home. We were getting many messages of support when we were forced to close our doors, we had many locals buying our bread + wine pick-up-take-out pairing until it got shut down, and now that we have reopened our doors, YOU are all coming back and bringing friends. ... We are so thankful for you. Just yesterday we were visited by the humans behind the infamous @tasteofvancouver where they enjoyed a pit stop at our favourite establishment (not biased..). This is what they had to say: "Hands down one of my favourite stops during our day trip with @tourismlangley. The Bench Wine Bar is a newer addition to the Langley community and offers a wide variety of wine and tapas. They might be called a wine bar but I was blown away by the food! The linguine (super lemony) and truffle popcorn were definitely my favourites." The buzz has begun! We are starting to see some new regulars and we are here for it & THRILLED. Hello lovely friends & Fort Langley neighbours! We just wanted to jump on here and share a few exciting announcements. The first (not so exciting) reminder is that we will be closed on Mondays moving forward! ... Now to the exciting part: - We are launching our new autumn/fall menu TODAY. We have a few new main dishes plus some amazing new change-ups to our most popular plates. Stay tuned for some photos and sneak peeks! - WE WILL HAVE WEEKEND BRUNCH. This is so extremely exciting and a big step for our humble establishment but we cannot wait to see your smiling faces in the am! *Saturday and Sunday we will be opening our doors at 10am! Friends!!!! We are VERY excited to have local musicians Tom Welsh & Mark Schurch joining us Saturday at 1pm for a LIVE concert at The Bench. It’s (finally) calling for a beautiful and sunny day so make sure you grab a few of your favourite humans and come down to enjoy some snacks and drinks while listening to some stellar performances. We can’t wait to have these two back in our establishment! We hope to see you there! ... The Bench Team

If you're feeling a little anxious with the end of summer/start of a new season, we encourage you all to take a nice deep breath. Things have been difficult this summer, there is no doubt. And unfortunately there is continued unknowns as we head back to work or send our kids back to school. Wherever you are, know that our staff is cheering you on. ... And if you need to take a nice deep breath, with a glass of wine in hand on our patio, you are always welcome. A few new features on our menu if you haven't been in recently: - Crab Dip: filled with rock crab, ricotta, shallots and seasoning, topped with fontina cheese that is bruleed. Served with a side of potato chips - Tomato Bisque: farm inspired soup topped with chefs garnish, served with two slices of crostini (can be made vegan!) - Puttanesca: our vegetarian take on the Naples pasta dish; garlic, olives, capers, tomatos and olive oil - Desert looks like a delicious rhubarb financier & a classic creme brulee ** And of course: each week we have a chefs special, rotating tartine so you can come every week to try the new delicious flavours.
