When youre working with a 30x10 tile, the math has to be perfect when figuring out where your niche will go, with a highlight tile, racing stripe, going right down the middle, your calculations have to be BANG ON! Especially when taking into account board, mortar, & tile thickness, so that your racing stripe tiles fit PERFECTLY into the niche. Saturday nights all right for fighting, get a little action in. Beauty weekend to work. Today we took out the original windows from this 100 year old house. It has to be done but its always a little unsettling for me. I always feel like we are taking part of its soul. BUT, we are giving the old girl a new lease on life. This renovation will hopefully see her until her 200th birthday. I wont be around but it gives me satisfaction that multiple generations have lived in her and there will be many more to live under her roof. We need to stop tearing down these beautiful homes. It will be a room within the @toronto_humane_society where pets can be euthanized once they are ready to let go. Jen, Im not even sure where to start. You were not only a true professional when it came to your duty to Canada but you were also a great friend that I could lean on. You were assigned to me as a liaison during my time at Trenton Air Force Base but, as the adventure unfolded (and had no choice but to put up with Nick and I), it became more like brother and sister. Our trip to Resolute Bay and Alert will be one of the highlights of my life. Im glad I have you as part of that memory.
