Have you spotted a festive reindeer bus yet this season? In addition to spreading cheer and making spirits bright, the red-nosed reindeer buses will collect and deliver donated toys for Metro Vancouver families in need, as part of a 36-year initiative called Toys for Tots. Did you know: Over the years, 86,912 toys and over $50,500 have been donated... Each reindeer bus is named after a different reindeer guiding Santa’s sleigh The routes the Reindeer buses travel on vary each day The buses are decorated by Santa’s elves at each bus depot! If you see a reindeer bus out in the wild, post a photo to your socials and use the #ReindeerBus hashtag on Instagram to join in the fun!

This is a very important factor for me in its livability," says Marianne. "I used The Bicycle Valet for many years before I decided to get involved. I was terrified of my primary mode of transportation being stolen. My involvement at first was to help combat our region’s terrible bike theft problem and encourage more peopl...e to cycle in our beautiful city. Over 250,000 bikes parked safely in the valet is pretty amazing to be part of but there are also the event perks for volunteers and being part of a community that is trying to make a difference."
