Closed for Summer 2020 It has been my pleasure for 17 summers to throw open the door of the Breakwater, put out the patio and welcome people from the community, as well as those from other parts of the world for coffee, ice cream and a chat. This summer, that same welcoming feeling will not happen in the current environment of physical distancing, this social interaction is so important for me and how I want to run the Breakwater.... Making the decision to stay closed this summer was done after much deliberation. It's what's needed to protect both staff and customers, as well as the Breakwater. We'll be back next summer stronger and look forward to being part of the Winnipeg Beach community for many years to come. I will miss all of you this summer, and look forward to meeting again next summer when we will truly be living in "the new normal".

I know I know... It's almost coffee time at the Beach!! In order to keep customers, staff and me......healthy, the shop will be closed May and June. I will evaluate what measures need to be taken to encourage social distancing before deciding if the store will be open in July.... Stay Safe Everyone!!!!

It was soooo great to see everyone on Friday night. What a wonderful celebration to start off the Christmas Season!!! Support for the coloring book has been beyond expectations, both Sam and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you missed getting your book or think you might need a few more for Christmas presents, they will be available in the shop next to the Breakwater Cafe. Friday, December 6th is Christmas on the Bandstand in Winnipeg Beach!! Our espresso machine and kettle will be on from noon to 8pm. Stop by for are eggnog latte or one of your favorites.
