The Role Seeking an experienced cook whose focus is on quality and efficiency. The cook is responsible for the smooth running of the lunch and dinner service, minimizing waste, and producing a consistent and high-quality product. The cook will also be heavily involved in BBQ, scratch pizza and catering events. Preferably the candidate will be a registered apprentice, student, or someone looking to complete their apprenticeship under our chef. This position offers a 5-day work week with 2 days off (back-to-back) per week. We offer competitive salary and the opportunity for advancement. Requirements Ability to lift 50lbs over your head comfortably Ability to work on your feet for extended times Ability to work quickly under pressure without lowering quality. The cleaner is responsible for general cleaning of all areas; this includes doing dishes, cleaning equipment, cleaning washrooms, sweeping and mopping. Some food preparation will be included.
