You DO NOT need 10 years to become a black belt. That time is enough to go through med school, practice at an ER, choose you specialty and become a NEUROSURGEON!!!! Enough with the "you're not ready/it's a honor thing/you need x years on each belt". The only reason is money. Easy to ask for years more of classes when while you make a living, isn't it?
