Well we made it! Happy 2021, everybody! We hope you all had yourselves the Happiest of Christmases and the Merriest of new years. We are back to our regular hours, 9 to 6 Monday through Saturday, and 9 to 5 on Sunday. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or to place an order. As an essential business, we will remain open through the lockdown to keep you supplied with all of the fresh baked bread, buns and other fun stuff you know and hopefully love. We would like to take this time to thank everyone for a great year. Sure it was kind of not really what anyone wanted or expected, but we'll get through it. From all of us at the Bun Shoppe, Merry Christmas!

Already getting tired of the same old bread in your lunch every day? Thinking white might not be right? Got grain on the brain? Why not live dangerously and try a new kind of bread? Give your sandwich a whole new look and feel by switching up it's epidermas... That's the technical name for the outer layer of your sandwich, in case I lost you there. We've got a "graint" variety of breads for you to try. If you're a PB and J. fan, perhaps whole wheat, Ancient or 9 Grain would be worth a try. Do you like a more refined sandwich? Feeling adventurous? Perhaps summer sausage and cheese on Smokey Onion would tickle your tastebuds? You'll never know unless you try. So, go wild, toss the old away and try something new today! We at the Bun Shoppe will not be labouring tomorrow. That's right, Labour Day is going to be Labourless Day. If you've put off grabbing those last minute buns, or that dessert for your socially distant Labour Day due, you've got approximately 45 minutes to get to 10 King George Road and grab whatever it is you're after. We will reopen at nine Tuesday morning. Have a great Labour, or Labourless Day!

Stop, Drop, and dinner roll! It looks like March Break, or summer holidays, or whatever we're calling this is finally coming to an end. I don't know about you, but I'm loving the few cooler days we've been having! Could Fall finally be coming? With that being said, I guess it might be time to think about school lunches again. The best minds in the business have been hard at work trying to develop a bread that can be eaten while wearing a mask, but so far, no dice. Oh well. Ca...n't win 'em all, right? We've got a variety of different breads and buns for your lunch-packing pleasure. We've also got our usual chicken-vegetable and ground beef meet pies. Why not try some Chili-beef pies if you want a little more zip in your food? In addition to those, we're still making our regular and spicy sausage rolls. If you're like me and have a fondness for the sweeter things, I'm happy to tell you that we've got doughnuts! Apple Fritters, and my personal favourite, Boston Cream to name a couple. Another of my personal faves has also made a return, and that's raisin pie! Who doesn't love a good raisin pie? Stay tuned, with the cooler weather hopefully enroute, perhaps pumpkin pies will soon be back too? You'll just have to drop by and check...
