Burnout is a tough problem to diagnose - mainly because it camouflages as a myriad of other mental health issues like depression and anxiety... At The Burnout Clinic, we dont choose to diagnose. Labels can be very challenging and identifying with your problems can lock you within your own limitations.... Instead we look at burnout in two ways One as a metaphor - if you feel your inner fire has depleted, however it materializes mentally, emotionally or physically Thats burnout. Its a path, not a destination. Trust your intuition. Second with this definition: Burnout is when you expend more energy than you can recover, as a habit. Thats how we effectively intervene. Habits can be addressed at the behavioural level, with resolving beliefs and inner conflicts and at the deep emotional level. Deep listening. And in times of crisis where short term wit and behaviors to solve short term problems now take precedent...
