Julie is no stranger to Cameron's Point as she has been camping here for a couple of years and is also the President of your Social Committee. To all seasonal campers: IMPORTANT NOTICE The government has lowered the the number of people who can gather at events. ... With these new restrictions in place we unfortunately will need to cancel the following activities, Sept 26th- Cancelled Continental breakfast General meeting Beach bonfire Games on the beach DJ DANCE Not cancelled however Changes to the following: The voting process for next year's social committee will still move forward, however Cameron's point management will be adjusting the vote process this year to ensure we follow the government's restrictions. There will not be a General meeting, or nominations for social committee positions. There will be an email provided at a later date providing all social committee information such as financial, and a note from the committee etc. Each individual that wishes to run for a position on the committee is welcome to sign their own name on the list by the pool. Dead line to sign yourself up is September 25th at 10 a.m. *You are only permitted to sign up for one position. If there is only one person signed up for each position, there will be no need for a vote. The Social committee members will be filled at that time. *If there is multiple individuals that are signed up for any one position, there will be a vote. *Ballots will be available at the barn. There will be a volunteer available from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. to provide you with one ballot each. *Please make your choice of candidate, by placing an X in the box beside their name. * Place your folded ballot in the sealed box. *When you are given your ballot you will be required to sign the list with your name and lot number to ensure you have only voted once. *Each seasonal camper that is in good standing with the park, and are of legal age to vote may have one vote. Pig roast changes: *Campers will still be able to enjoy the catered meal The caterer will be preparing the meal at his facility and bringing it down to the park at 4p.m. IMPORTANT Only 1 camper per lot is permitted to come to the gazebo to pickup the meals required for your family. Once picked up you can return to your lot to enjoy. All servers will be wearing proper P.P.E while serving the food. Please inform the volunteer at the pick up table of your lot number and how many plates you require. Please wait until the person ahead has moved away from the pick up table. We thank you all for your understanding during these very difficult times. We all need to do our best to remain 6ft apart unless it's your social circle of 10. We hope you enjoyed your season, despite the craziness of Covid 19, we are pleased that we were still able to have some enjoyable and memorable moments.
