Good news, to report this mothers day. While the boil water and conservation advisories are still in effect; Our reservoirs have made some modest gains over night. The Town is allowing car washes to resume normal operation until 8pm to monitor how the reservoir is impacted.

New hours for The Car Wash! 7 am to 8pm Recent reservoir is indicating in 90s, and we have informed to operate regular hours and close by 8pm.... Here is the situation of the Drayton Valley Water Reservoir

It is very unfortunate to inform our customers we are still closed due to shortage of water in town. We are checking every hour to find out how things are improving. Towns water reservoir is improving, so hoping to see you all soon!

The Mandatory Water Use Ban for the Town of Drayton Valley has been lifted. However, The Town of Drayton Valley encourages you to continue to reduce water cons...umption where possible while we continue to receive lower quality water from the North Saskatchewan River. Not only does this help reduce pressures for production of potable water, it helps you to save money! The Mayor, Town Council and staff would like to thank all those businesses and residents who have been understanding and supportive during this Water Use Ban. Your cooperation helps the Town in ensuring the supply of quality water for consumption and fire suppression

As a result of this dec...reased capability to produce water, the Town of Drayton Valley has placed a MANDATORY WATER USE RESTRICTION ADVISORY into effect immediately. WATER IS TO BE USED FOR ESSENTIAL USE ONLY. Examples of essential use include cooking, drinking, and bathroom purposes with reduced shower times. DO NOT use water for laundry and car-washing. Following this advisory is important to maximize water available for consumption and fire protection. The QUALITY of the water is not a concern at this time.
