Today, we would like to once again congratulate the class of 2020. All of your hours of training, your dedication & perseverance, the sweat, the aches and pains, the laughter and the tears - you did it! Thank you for being such amazing role models. We are extremely proud of the young women you have grown up to be right before our eyes! The end of our season was so unusual, I, nor the students & parents, had the opportunity to thank our amazing staff. I want to take a moment to thank our incredible instructors & Miss Jeanette in the office, for all the lovely work they do. The Academy could not move forward without the many talented & caring staff members who guide our students to success. I am so thankful for each of them! This surreal season finally feels complete. Congratulations to the 21 Vocational students who performed their Exams over the weekend. I am so proud of your commitment & growth, especially over the past 3 months. Whatever your result, you should be so proud of the dedication & drive you have shown in such an uncertain time. After teaching nearly 250 hours on Zoom & having the longest break I have ever had away from the studio since I was four years old (including after having my girls), being in the studio today was glorious It was definitely different & there is much to think about moving forward, but teaching in person was the best! Seeing some of my Half Day & Vocational students leap across the floor is indescribable! We were spaced out, but you could still feel the LOVE!! . Miss you all so much. Miss Tyra

Have you seen Canadian ballet company, @balletjorgencanada online ballet classes? Schedule time to do a class with a friend or even check out their beginner class with your mom! (Did you know Miss @alyssarotheram & @nickihobbis were dancers in the company?)... 3. We want to see you dancing at home. Send us your pictures of your makeshift barres, cleared out living rooms, or favourite place to train. We hope to compile these pictures for our upcoming online Shows. 4.Be inspired by @danceinternationalmagazine article about how 5 dancers are coping during this time. Get to know the members of our hip hop crew the Sour Patch Kids on their IG account @sourpatchkids20 They are still pushing hard every Friday night on Zoom. A big to @celinacbooth for continuing to encourage & motivate them! We love their energy, spunk, & teamwork!
