This has been a fun week sharing my artistic side with you all. Now I feel better about moving my Chai products into the Studio. THANK GOD IT'S CHAIDAY

This week, having moved the Chai Shipping department into my Art Studio, I am sharing some of my Art projects with you. The welded pieces were created 4 years ago in my 1st year Welded Art class. They are belt buckles! And have never seen a belt! But I loved the process and continue to take the class each summer for a week. I've found Bigger projects for me are Better.

Sharing the studio This mixed media was also created in Jean Pederson's Summer Series class. I took her class for 4 years in a row and learned so much. I love the style, laying down colours and bringing in your subject on that surface.

Sharing the Art Studio This mixed media was created in Jean Pederson's class at Summer Series at RDC. It is the first self portrait I've done and I would recommend the process.

My Art Studio is now sharing space with my Chai business. I have been creative my whole life. My earliest memories were of the feelings that came from being praised for my coloring skills. Painting and mixed media has been my medium of choose for several years and this was a joyful, joyfilled space for me. In the last few years, welding and sculpture fill my heart and make me look forward to summer and some studio time. This week I will be honoring my studio space and sharing photos of my product and creations together.

Through the years I have made Chai in a lot of different ways. Today I am using a double walled press from Ikea. I put 1/4 C of our Masala Chai into the press and add boiling water. Put the lid on for about 10 minutes then plunge down the strainer. By this time, I've warmed up a half a mug of milk to which I pour in the chai. I usually sweeten with honey.
