Our character, at the core, is a composite of our habits. Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny, the maxim goes. You need the following three things to make something a habit. KNOWLEDGE is what to do and why. ... SKILL is how to do it. DESIRE is the motivation, the want to do it. We're a little over a week of the new year, and I'm here to remind you to stay true to the commitment you made for yourself in the goals you made this year. The best way to do this is to form habits surrounding the process of your goals.

You always have a choice. The choice to let circumstances, factors beyond your control or external perceptions govern how you live your life. OR you can allow the power of positive perception of yourself to write the narrative on how you will live your life. If we want to change a situation, we first have to change ourselves. And to change ourselves effectively, we first have to change our PERCEPTION. I hope you have a great weekend

There’s a lot of layers that go into a well crafted value proposition and yet the value proposition should be simple, clear and laser focused on the value you will give to your prospect while providing peace of mind that they are making the right choice going with you. 5 CHARACTERISTICS OF A GREAT VALUE PROPOSITION 1 Focuses on the jobs, pains, and gains that matter most to customers... 2. Your customer/clients do not buy your services they hire you to accomplish particular tasks. People don’t go to the hardware store to buy a drill; they go there to buy a hole. The drill they purchase is the candidate they hire to get that job done. To better serve your customer, you should identify the important and unfulfilled customer problem and propose a focused solution to deliver the customer’s desired result. The value of your service isn’t the solution, it’s the outcome or results that the solution provides.

You owe it to yourself and your business to infuse your life and business with positive energy. Sometimes that means going against conventional or negative thinking by others. Stand strong with your beliefs that you can achieve what you set out to achieve. Get really clear with your vision, take massive and intentional action, and be relentless with your pursuit to achieve what others say is impossible. As Nelson Mandela said, "It always seems impossible until it’s done.

Understanding the value of your team AND having your team understand the importance of THEIR role in the team is absolutely critical to having everyone feel motivated to take on the common goals of your organization. It comes down to leadership. As a leader, you must learn to adapt your communication to the personalities of your team. This will help them understand their value in your team and instill a sense of purpose that will ultimately contribute to the collective efforts of everyone on the team.

We all make mistakes, and that's ok, but you must embrace those mistakes as valuable learning lessons for the future, or you will continue making those same mistakes until you finally learn your lesson. The key is to acknowledge your mistakes rather than ignore them. Harness the power of deep reflection to find the solutions to your errors. I invite you to reflect on any mistakes you have made this month or this year that you know you won't make again because you know what to do differently next time. The decision is always yours.

Many entrepreneurs and business owners aspire to be the smartest person in the room. Although the pursuit of knowledge and mastery in or outside your field is a great thing, be mindful that if you end up being the smartest person in the room, you are now in a room of limits. Jim Rohn once said, You’re the average of the five people you spend most of your time with. It's crucial to keep company with people who know more than you in a certain aspect of business or life. Even better, people who have already experienced the level of success you are aspiring to achieve. Being in the company of teachers, mentors, and experts in a given subject challenges us to raise the bar for ourselves while keeping us humble in the process. Surround yourself with great people and you too will become great.

The mind is truly a powerful thing. What and how you think can drastically alter your reality. The way you go through life, what you accept and what you think you deserve - both personally and in business - is primarily governed by the condition of your thoughts. The first step to any change is changing your mindset, which will influence how you perceive the situation. Once your new mindset and thought patterns become your default line of thinking you will be surprised at how your physical reality changes as a result. Positive self-talk leads to positive action resulting in positive change.

The top agents are always closing. They're constantly refining and perfecting their closing techniques because they know that closing to get a listing is both an art and a science. Your presentation doesn't need to lengthy, in fact, it's better to be concise, be dynamic with your offering and know the correct order of your presentation to have the most impact. The close you choose should be based on what you know about the prospect and the type of close you believe they will be most open to. Language is also really important. Using the right persuasive language based on your prospect will build better rapport and provide a higher likelihood of closing the deal.

Feeling like you're stuck at some point in your life (whether that's personal or in business) is normal, but it doesn't have to be common. Choosing to get unstuck is the first step to a path of living a life of authenticity that will reignite a burning passion towards your higher purpose. So how do you unshackle yourself? First, you must surrender to you being stuck. No resistance, just acceptance of your current situation. After you have fully accepted what is you are now in... alignment to shed what no longer serves you. You then get clear on your goals and begin building new habits by taking positive action that is in alignment with your newly created vision of your future. Remember, consistency is key. In a previous post, I mention the 21/90 rule, and although it's a general rule and the numbers may depend on the person, it simply means it takes 21 days to build a habit and 90 days to cultivate a lifestyle. It's no good taking action for a few days and then taking a break for a few days. You must be committed to your action plan day in and day out. A clear action plan + consistency = achieved goals. Feeling stuck isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, on many occasions, it's a guiding light that tells us that we are supposed to live at a higher level than our current situation. If you're feeling stuck, take it as an opportunity for life-changing growth and living a more mindful and authentic life. I promise you, once you start your journey of getting unstuck you'll be more engaged with your surrounding, your optimism and creativity increase and you will develop a resilience you'll be proud of a year from now. Have a great weekend everyone!

Leading by example is about the leader setting the tone to inspire others to fulfill their potential. It's based on effective communication of your ideas to others in a way that engages them enough to act as you want them to act. However, it starts with you. To be an effective leader you MUST set the course that other people have to steer toward - you have to LEAD by EXAMPLE. Walk the talk and others will follow your lead.
