Meet our Creative Director! Born and raised in St. John’s, Jamie grew up performing on local and national stages, improvising at a competitive level since 2003. From 2008 to 2012, she taught drama and improvisation with The Performing Arts Group in St. John’s, and she continues to teach theatre workshops today - from summer camps and national travelling workshops to smaller theatre intensives, classes, and guest lectures. In addition to working as an actor/director, theatre t...eacher, and casting director, Jamie holds an M.A. in English Language & Literature (Queen’s University at Kingston) and teaches on a per-course basis with Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Department of English. Most notably, she toured 48 performances across the country this fall as a principal actor in Governor General’s Award-winning director, writer, satirist, and actor Mary Walsh’s CANADA, IT'S COMPLICATED.
