Many of our community organizations are preparing to provide Christmas meals for those who would otherwise likely go without. Such organizations deserve our praise and our thanks, and our donations if we can. This festive season is a time when people normally come together as family units though this year we are being advised - wisely - to be safe by NOT gathering. As we move into a hopeful 2021, let's reflect on what it means to eat, and what it means to eat well. The l...ink below will take you to the Canada Food guide, to help understand what eating well really means: https://food-guide.canada.ca/en/?wbdisable=true Stay healthy, stay safe. Please Share, in as many ways as you are able.

Our PEC Food Banks have been performing amazing services for years. Their visibility, presence and actions continue to be felt during the pandemic, along with an anticipation of increasing demand as the economic impacts of COVID-19 hit the County. Foodbanks Canada has issued a snapshot report of Food Bank experiences across Canada since the pandemic arrived. It's a lengthy report, and an excellent read, as it points out the issues and recommends solutions.
