Good afternoon all...a tough weekend & announcement here! This is a note to inform all our friends & amazing patrons that we have reached the renewal stage of our lease at The Cross. With the horrific downturn in foot traffic and a severe loss of business on Elgin Street due to the construction, piled on with an increase in rent at the start of our fifth year October 1st, we have decided to not go forward with our renewal option! This means September will be our last month o...perating at 360 Elgin St. We cant thank those who have supported us, day in & day out, (Matthew van Vorstenbos ) enough for their loyalty & patronage over the past 4 years. (Plus the many that have been continuously supportive since the first Cross in ‘93, like Al Hogan & many more) A big thank you as well to Paul Livingston who worked tirelessly on promotions & trying to help us out by taking over our kitchen last year. A huge thank you also to all our wonderful staff, past & present, for their great service & dedication. We have had many great times & created many more amazing memories over the past 4 years, and we will miss everyone greatly! We hope you can join us for a lease ending party on Friday Sept 27th with Brandy ‘N’ Port on stage for one last hurrah!! We will keep you posted when / if another more suitable location becomes available! A reminder that Friday will be a cash only event with no ATM, debit or credit machines available.
