FACEBOOK FRIENDS OF VICTORIA! we at The Daily Dose Society are reaching out to the public and asking for donations of gently used WARM clothing as well as camping gear for those less fortunate living in Victoria The Daily Dose Society works with people struggling with addiction, people living on the streets and those less fortunate.... Donated items we are asking for: Socks, shoes, pants(not too large), warm sweaters, warm coats, rain gear, duffle bags, backpacks, suitcases, tarps, camping mats, tents(preferably smaller ones, eg. 2 person) we will also take baby clothing(many of our clients have young children) Items that are NOT needed: Toys, dress clothing, shoes that wouldn't be suitable for the Winter(e.g high heals), t-shirts, shorts, thin sweaters/coats and clothing for children over the age of 4 If you would like to donate some items you can drop them off at STS Pharmacy at 820 Cormorant Street. The Daily Dose entrance is located around the side and easy to miss. The Daily Dose is open between 9AM and 3PM. If you are unable to drop your donations off I am able to meet up with you to pick them up... as long as it's not for a pair of socks Remember!... as Marie Kondo says... if an article of clothing doesn't bring you joy.. donate it.. to The Daily Dose Thank you so much everyone! your donations are greatly appreciated and we will make sure they go to good homes. - if you have any questions feel free to message me also liking and sharing this post would be a huge help Much love, Dan website:
