Here we go, dancers! We are all set for the 2020/2021 dance season... the Dance Gallerys RAD Intensive kicks off tomorrow for grades 2, 3. 4. 5. 6 and Intermediate Foundation for fall ballet exams! The schedule has been emailed out and we look forward to seeing dancers back this week! Please remember character shoes, skirts, props, all dancewear and a water bottle. Hi DG Families! Below is a message from our friends at the Shine Dance Festival regarding the upcoming Solo/Duo/Trio Wellness event, set to run July 18th. The event has been cancelled, but we will look forward to supporting Shine in the upcoming dance season! Hello Friends, Thank you to those who have been working hard to get dancers on the stage this summer! We are grateful for the support of those who opted-in for our tentative summer events and the extra behind the scene...s efforts. As of today, we have made the difficult decision NOT to run a summer event in the Okanagan. While we sincerely want to see dancers SHINE now more than ever, we simply dont have enough interest to run an event in Vernon or Penticton. The many considerations of an out of town event in the current cultural climate (staffing locally, travel and logistics at this time, venue limitations) make it quite the undertaking and we did not reach the minimum number of entries to make it feasible. We understand the unique changes and challenges that studios and families must navigate to make the most of this summer and support the choices made.
