So Y’a, I am super proud to be creating this show! I’ve told you all about Trattoria Mercatto where I work. Well, work when the gov says I can work. Anyways, Scott Hall (Baker Hall) has been my General Manager there for 8 years next month. He has been a huge influence on my growth. My Fairy Gay Godfather! The pandemic happened. As you all know. Scott started baking and baking and baking. Until his business Baker Hall came to life. So now he bakes and sells. And they are selli...ng. Now, I am not one to miss opportunity. Scott needs material to promote his brand. I need to create content to promote my brand. We work brilliantly together. He can bake. He can tell a story. He can communicate the most unknown and absolutely fascinating information on ingredients, while coupling in humorous anecdotes of life. It just made sense to jump right in and film a pilot for a show! The story is simple. Scott’s hands takes us through the pie baking process in five steps. Intro. Crust. Filling. Topping. Taste. Each step, as Scott’s hands do the work, Scott’s voice will talk ingredient and life! All within 11 to 15 minutes or so. Can you smell winner? I can! I am so grateful to have such a solid working foundation with Baker Hall before he was Baker Hall. It makes getting to success so much easier. I’m unemployed. I have not worked a paying job since indoor dining got 86’d. Luckily I am a bit delusional and narcissistic. In a good way. So it is not depressing me as much as it should. I believe, with the time given, I will complete a bankable screenplay. And then with a lot of hard work hunting through pitching, I will acquire the budget needed to film it in the summer of 2022. This won’t be an easy thing. But I have HEIR. FALL AWAKE is on the way to post production completion. The writing has to blow them away. I just have to keep focused and not let the down of the times be an obstacle. Sure, I may not win. But I’m having a really good time pushing the dream. #dreamer #doer #writerdirector

Always in my head. On scene 52 of BURN THE WOODS. Idea was sparked on 12/21/20. In three weeks, I aim to have that satisfaction of completing the writing of my first feature film screenplay. It is a grind to get it out of my head and making sense on page. I think it is going well. It is my strongest writing so far. And it still has to benefit from the thoughts of others.
