Happy in or on the water . Speaking of which...I'm participating in the Swim for Kids open water fundraiser race on July 27th in support of Easter Seals Ontario and the Kingston YMCA Penguins Can Fly swim club! . Funds go towards supporting kids with disabilities in athletics. I've personally seen the awesome work that the Kingston Penguins do and am excited to support the cause again this year. ... . Made it to the finish line . ! Yesterday I swam my second open water race in Lake Ontario for the King Wolfe Swim. Although weather presented barriers to swimming the initial course to Wolfe Island, the race committee handled the problems beautifully and constructed an alternate course just off shore from downtown Kingston. Awaiting official results, and feeling happy with my effort . There’s room for improvement for my next race at the end of July . . Most important...ly, big thanks to my crew pictures with me here.
