We visited The district restaurant shortly after new ownership ,and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even though the restaurant is still finding its feet the ...staff could not do enough for us.. they were so polite and friendly.The presentation of the food was exceptional, and if you are looking for a classic dish with a slight modern twist this is the place for you. Our party had a mixture of mussels and steak dishes none of which I can really fault at all. In terms of the surroundings, the place has had a full refit, and feels very elegant. The kitchen is open fronted - but is not in your face, so it doesn't get too stuffy or hot. Every thing was perfect All in all I couldn't fault it and will definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant for everyone. See more

I'm glad I found this place. I had a lovely dinner with some friends, in fact there were no complaints from anyone at the table. The service was responsive and ...friendly, the food options were refreshing to see and even better to eat :) Looking forward to going back to try the lunch service and won't hesitate to bring a client along with me! Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful ambience, friendly and fantastic staff & manager and delicious food obviously!! I've been to District restaurant for a evening deal, I've got three am...azing starters: Cauliflower fritters with a fantastic onion soup and tasty"five spice wings .stake fritters " for a main course, perfectly cooked. All accompanied by two glasses of wine and an excellent Belgian beer !!Chocolate Belgian cake for dessert was gorgeous!! Strongly recommended!!I will be back soon! Impeccable!! See more
