As the fall weather starts to settle in, you may begin to hear members of the family coughing and sniffling in the house. This too can include the family dog! As Kennel Cough is seemingly present in the Milton area, be sure to check your pooch for symptoms and seek Veterinarian help if they are present: persistent, forceful cough... sneezing, runny nose, eye discharge decreased energy level low appetite Our kennel recommends getting the Bordetella vaccine as a preventative to kennel cough. Your dog can catch it in any place where they come in contact with other dogs, especially at dog parks. In order to board with us we require the Bordetella vaccine for the safety of your pet and other pets who enjoy their time with us.
