We hope you've all had a lovely Holiday season and that you're enjoying some well deserved time off! We wanted to highlight some of our upcoming Scene Study classes that are starting in January. Both are taught by the wonderful Julianne Christie Scene Study for Teens In this Scene Study class for teens, students will learn how to get a better understanding of script analysis and how to apply it to their auditions and work. After taking this class students will have the tools necessary to master a television, film or theatre scene/audition quickly and efficiently, as to match the turnarounds our busy industry is currently demanding. Adult Scene Study In this Scene Study Class for Adults you will work on subjects such as exploring relationships, environment and objectives, incorporating text and scene analysis and learning to follow large arcs in material. You will explore character development and playing honestly moment to moment, and finding where our characters live on the emotional scale. After this class you will know how to cold read effectively, understand how to breakdown a script, create a strong self tape and work with the emotional scales in our bodies to play for truth. You'll work towards finding the confidence in front of the camera whether on zoom or in the room with casting professionals, agents and director/producer meetings.
