The scenery differed as we ventured out today...

Temperatures are in the pluses today and horses have their snow shoes on We may have to go for a field ride. However, it will be hard to compare with the gallop track at Crystal Springs West in Thermal. It’s hard to believe this was taken mere weeks ago...

Couldn’t be more proud of both girls today at Desert Dressage 2 CDIW. Over 65 in the U25 Inter 2 for Claire and Glamour Boy and, well, this says the rest:

Here it is: the harsh reality of home! Maybe we have created enough momentum to head back to the palms in the early new year...but first we need to get out of quarantine!

Humans leave for YEG today. I have no doubt the memories of Desert Dressage, and the inspiration it generated, will linger. Many thanks to our coach, Eiren Crawford - All Points Dressage, for getting us this far in the journey. Thanks also to Janet Curtis for spending time with us here. That judge’s eye is so valuable, if not frequently exasperating! We are already dreaming about next year...

Super wrap up to the CDI this weekend. The Canadian anthem played for Froggy’s freestyle and GlamourBoy placed a respectable second. There was a bit of a crash and burn for our 3 national level horses but hey, there’s always next weekend! Special thanks to Jan Curtis for coming from Laguna Hills to coach and acknowledgment always for the great program at home with Eiren Crawford.

Great Saturday at the CDI with 2 second places U25 for Glamour Boy and YR for Forget-Me-Not. In the national show, our young Kappuccino took away 70% at First Level while Gordon scored a third place in the AA PSG and Cleo won the AA GP

Proud first day at the CDI with a 1st for Katie in the YR and a second for Claire in the U-25 GP, less than 1% away from first. Pretty awesome to hear this at presentations...

And so it starts...Froggy and Glamour both through the jog and looking forward to the start of the CDI tomorrow
