Hey kids and families! Tonight for SonRise Kids, we will be having a watch party over Zoom for a brand new (to us) series called Superbook! Superbook is an animated series that shares some of our favourite stories from the Bible in a fun and creative way, and we hope that all our kids in Grades 1 to 5 can join us for the very first episode (as well as for some fun at-home games and time with your awesome leaders!)! To all our kids, youth, and families: Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our province and public health's advisories to limit social gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our in-house Thrive Youth and SonRise Kids gatherings for this week. Over the next few days, we will examine and reassess our ability with eager hope to get together for our final two scheduled gatherings on December 1/2 and December 8/9. After the major successes we've had t...hroughout the fall, this is not the decision that we were hoping to make, however we feel that it is the decision that best keeps everyone safe, especially with the Christmas season right around the corner. Please keep our next-gen community in prayer at this time as they continue to grapple with ongoing uncertainties. And to those who are struggling in this time, please know that our church is open to you if you and your family. You are not alone and we are here to support you!
