YOGA FOUNDATIONS Wanting to begin yoga, but don’t know where or how to start? Used to practise and fell out of it? Curious, but not curious enough to go to a class of people who know what they’re doing? ... This could be for you! I’ve created a 6 week virtual course, designed specifically with beginners in mind, to help you find your way with yoga. Discover what this means for you; maybe it’s safer stretching, personal / spiritual time, movement and mobility, or even a combination. Maybe something completely different. I’m excited to help you find out. Beginning December 7th, learn with me what it means to move mindfully, safely, and to explore your body in a different way. If you’re ready to commit to yourself and discover what yoga means for YOU, shoot me a message. I’d love to chat with you.

Because this was so well recieved on Instagram, I’ve decided to share to Facebook, as well. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. Here it is. The ugly shit no one asked for. Buckle the fuck up and let’s get real. This post has little to do with massage, yoga, or breath, but everything to do with well being.... The photo was actually taken a few weeks ago, to be fully transparent. This is me, in a state of anxiety and fear; a state many of us are in a lot, these days. This is me expressing those emotions in the most natural way for me. I’m not asking for your validation or sympathy. I’m just asking you to remember that Instagram is a giant filter. Mental health is at the forefront of the health + wellness and education communities, and with that, it’s important to remind each other we are all in this together. We are all human. It’s normal to feel intense emotions and I want you to feel safe to be able to express them. I feel extremely uncomfortable preaching about mental health to my online platforms and then hide behind old, posed photos of myself, when that’s not reality. It comes across as inauthentic and is challenging to relate to. So I’m being real. I want people to remember that Instagram is not real life. I could have posted the same caption with a different photo and it would not hit the same. We are not always edited, flexing, and fully done up. I beat myself up for years, believing I was being too sensitive, and that no one else gets worked up like this. I believed those things because I never, ever saw anyone look like this^ when talking about mental health online. This is what is actually looks like. It’s ugly, raw, and also kind of beautiful. Feel the feelings as they come. Feel them entirely, and feel them deeply. Let them come out however they need to. Resist the temptation to place judgement on how you express how you feel. It doesn’t matter. Let them go, so they don’t find a cozy home deep in your bones. #theenigmaticbody

life’s weird man. it takes us in unexpected directions sometimes. how we adapt to those changes is entirely within our control. I practise yoga, movement, breath to adapt to the unexpected- to be flexible to the changes and allow space for them. it works for me.... what works for you? how do you adapt? #theenigmaticbody

I CANNOT BELIEVE ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS The Enigmatic Body was always just unnamed, far off future thoughts and dreams scribbled into 1000 different notebooks, until this summer. Never anything I gave serious attention to... but 2020 proved to have different plans for me. Two months ago it became real. I am proud and thrilled to say that it’s been a successful first two months! And yes, I’m making a point of celebrating the little things, hehe. ... I have already learned so much from this, and I’m so excited to see how the future of The Enigmatic Body unfolds. Thank you for all of the continuous, unwavering, loving support both TEB and I have received since startup. I am grateful. #theenigmaticbody
