Here's a project I made using the washable paper we carry. It was really fun to sew up. The pattern is from The Handmade Style Book by Anna Graham. It's a great everyday tote pattern.

Try something new! This is a cellulose fibre textile referred to as Washable Paper or Vegan Leather - and it is just that! It has the textured appearance of leather, and can indeed be washed. Nifty!... The coolest part is the way the texture changes after you wash it - it looses some of it's stiffness and becomes more pliable. Cork fabrics are in the shop! It's a great alternative to leather and vinyl. Sustainable and environmentally friendly, it's made from the bark of the Cork Oak, which grows back and can be harvested many times over hundreds of years!
