Matching my fabric wrapping for the season

I was looking for a modern, geometric tree quilt pattern. It’s like Instagram read my mind, because I opened my feed and lo and behold, @geekybobbin designed one! Visit her Instagram to get the link to put your preorder in. I preordered mine and hope to get it done this year (who am I kidding...maybe next year...). I think I’ll go really edgy and modern and use the new Stealth fabrics from @libselliott (coming soon to the shop!)

As we start to enter the colder months and shorter days in this situation we find ourselves collectively managing, we need to start preparing ourselves. I have said it before, but I feel like we’re going through a bit of a renaissance, rediscovering what is truly important in life. Whether it is going for long walks and noticing things we previously ignored, learning to sew a quilt, baking bread, knitting or reading, the next few months will give us an opportunity to reconnect to those passions we have told ourselves we have been too busy for. One of my favourite Instagram accounts for book suggestions is @sloane_reads. I think our bookshelves are very similar! If you enjoy a good thriller, please follow her account for some excellent selections!

Last additions for the weekend and I’m super proud to be adding these to my store. See if you can figure out the theme. These are all fabrics from Dear Stella including beautifully diverse mermaids in Sea Spells, girls chillaxin together in Girls Just Wanna Have Sun and, you know, girls breaking down those fairy tale stereotypes in Save Yourself.

Solstice by @sallykellyfabric for @windhamfabrics, now available at @the_fabric_curator. The paisleys and florals are in complimentary cool and warm tones.

I just added more fabrics I was able to source and offer to you at reduced prices. All bolts come from @rileyblakedesigns. I have Meow & Forever, Northwest and Juniper. These new fabrics are priced at $3.25 a fat quarter!

I was able to get some fun fabrics in to add to my Curated Clearance section. I love the thrill of the find and when I can bring in these great fabrics at even greater prices, I pass the savings to you! I have a new Varsity collection, which has some great blenders, as well as more added to the Fossil Rim I & II collection. Stay tuned for more to come!

Cashmere by @sanderson1860 is now in. I can see this as a dress or skirt or a rich, warm quilt you can snuggle under in front of a fire with a glass of Rioja!
