To our valued guests, We have recently received a significant number of inquiries regarding phone calls from scammers identifying themselves as being with Marriott International and offering a free night's stay at a Marriott hotel. These callers are in no way affiliated with Marriott, and are using Marriott's name in an effort to generate trust. This is a scam in which the caller will eventually attempt to solicit the target's credit card number.... Marriott does not provide guest information to any third party, and does not do any form of unsolicited advertising or promotion. If you are a member of Marriott Bonvoy, any promotional communications will be done via email and only with guests who have opted in. We suggest that anyone receiving such a call not engage with these callers in any way. Do not attempt to navigate through an automated menu to be removed from their call list, as this simply confirms that they have a live number. We've recently updated some of the furnishings in our guest rooms. As a result, we have 29 king size mattresses available. These mattresses are approximately a year and a half old, and have minor threading issues on the sides, but are otherwise in excellent shape. We will be selling them on Monday, August 13th, starting at 10am, for the price of $20 + HST each. First come, first serve, no limit on number taken per customer.... Edit: Our apologies folks, We should have mentioned - $20 + HST. Edit 2: We are unable to provide assistance carrying out the mattresses. Please ensure you bring an additional person to assist with loading.

This past weekend the Fairfield Inn and Suites was honoured to host the Fantasy Flight Reunion. This group of teachers all graduated from Nipissing University in 1952! Congratulations on staying in touch all of these years. We had a great time hosting you, and hope we'll see you again next year! Pictured are a number of this years attendees, along with some family members who came along for the trip!

Congratulations to our Lovely Lady Lorna of Laundry, who left us last week to enjoy retirement. Lorna has been with the Fairfield Inn and Suites Sudbury since we first opened in 2007, and while we are certainly sad to see her go, we are excited to see where this new chapter in her life takes her. Enjoy your retirement Lorna. We miss you already!
