. I am so overjoyed with how their relationship has developed over the last year. The other day Caden went to her bedroom, pointed to the bed and yelled BA I said she wasn’t here. It’s started and will always break my heart a bit, but I’m so grateful for how deeply they love each other.

Today I went to my Stepdaughters school and we felted soap! It was very interesting. I was so happy to be able to volunteer - as the stepparent I don’t get many opportunities, so since she asked me I jumped at the chance! Before there were loofahs and washcloths, people used an old fashioned bar of soap sewn into a felted wool covering. The wool was exfoliating and had antibacterial qualities, and the soap created a nice lather without wasting its suds. @ Toronto, Ontario
