Because the GOTS classes all shorn animal fibres as wool (which is also consistent with Canadian Government Textile Labelling Standards), we have to call it wool, but its actually 50% Wool, 25% Alpaca (whch accounts for the luxurious softness of this yarn) and 25% Cellulosic Viscose (Lyocell.) A... little-known fact is that many viscose fibres are toxic to the environment the viscose in Eco Tweed DK is very different! Sometimes, good things come to a natural end. Given feedback on todays Piglet post (since deleted), Leslie & Clifton have chatted & decided this will be the last shop day for this sweet little #jackrussellterrier Leslie & Ros have been so grateful to Diana & Clifton for their excellent efforts to keep our little #localyarnshop operational during these initial chaotic pandemic months. And, we are grateful to Piglet for the joy she brought to Clifton during what was sure t...o have been a bit of a lonely shop existence at times. Piglets joy rubbed off on all of us. We will miss you seeing you regularly, Piglet, but our love will never stop.
