Wow, one year ago we started off on a crazy adventure that would change our lives. Hell, just planning it changed our lives! I will always remember the first night, freezing and trying to sleep in the trailer in one hell of a storm!

We. Are. HOME!!! Well, sort of. We are living in the trailer for the rest of the season in an RV park in Port Perry, a very convenient location to ease back into GTA life. It's been a wild ride. We have been on this adventure for 237 days, put 30,804 kilometres on our truck and drove through 23 states and 5 provinces. We have seen and learned so much, it's hard to put into words.... At the top of my "What I have learned" list is that I MISS MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY! So, who is around this weekend??? Any live music up in Newmarket??? We would love to make some plans! ...especially if you have a place for us to crash since we don't have a room up there right now! ;) Here are just a few of our favourite photos, I'm sure we will have more as we continue to sort through them all! (Yeah, it might take a while, I'm sure we have a bazillion!) I must apologize to Kate Potter-Mahler since we didn't take photos with her and Bill. What the hell! We stayed with them for New Year's Eve in North Carolina, had a great time and hope to visit again!!! (Or see you when you visit Canada!?!?) Big thanks to all our friends, new and "old" who made our journey so special: Kate and Bill (North Carolina), Jim Clayton and family (Louisiana), Ted Hubbers and Annemarie Schnellhardt (Texas), Kaitlin Cre and Kyle Koleda (Texas, California, Oregon), Steve and Barb and the rest of the gang in Study Butte (Texas), Lisa B and Frank and Lis Fraser (California), Gord Kerr and Ginnie (Arizona, British Columbia), Cheryl Fraser Matthew Fraser and family (Canmore, Alberta), Jeannie Gane & Lorne Jordan (Lake Louise, Alberta), Blair Biswanger (Calgary, Alberta), Maddy Hubbers, Tristan Turner, LA Palter, Jay Palter, Linda Groen and family (Calgary, Alberta) and my aunt and uncle who were our first "back in Ontario people" Ted Williamson, Donna Williamson and Elaine (Ontario), John Ullman and Marla (Ontario). Seriously, I get emotional just thinking about all of you, it's been the greatest pleasure to have met you along our way! So sorry to have sadly missed hooking up with some friends along the way, despite our good intentions. Debby Wilmot (Mississippi), Wes Hardaker (California), David Sharpe (Washington), Sally Turner & Rob (Edmonton). Love and hugs to all, we hope to see you soon! <3 <3 <3

Just a few sights along our long haul home. I visited the Terry Fox Memorial with my family in 1982 when we moved ourselves from Brandon, Manitoba to Aurora, Ontario. The memorial had not even been officially opened at that time and I'm glad we got to see it today, so moving.
