What do you need today? Extra motivation? Extra positive vibes? (Personally, I could use an extra cup of coffee)What do you need today? Extra motivation? Extra positive vibes? (Personally, I could use an extra cup of coffee)

Hi all! I missed you this weekend. But I wasn’t focusing on work or social media, and was focusing on the people I was with Spent the weekend at Ry’s cottage with a few of my favs celebrating my birthday! Not gonna lie, I felt pretty damn special. The best part about growing up is getting to a point where you don’t have to worry about being surrounded by negative vibes. Align yourself with the type of energy you desire and nothing less. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Have you ever wanted something so badly whether it be a relationship, business, money, etc. and no matter how hard you worked for it, it wasn’t coming to you? Well, it doesn’t take until us working on ourselves until we realize why those things weren’t happening. We need to break down the walls in our brain to help us become the best version of ourselves. After breaking them down, they will lead you down path you envisioned or down a new one that is where your universe intend...ed you to be. But you need to become the person you desire to be. Once you become that person, you will DO all of those things. And when you focus on your mindset, self care and wellbeing- guess what happens? You will approach those goals with energy, love, positivity, passion and joy. Don’t lose yourself in the process. Your goal needs YOU. And the best version of you. Make yourself a priority and watch what starts to happen. Have a good weekend everyone- so much love for all of you! See more

Happy October aka happy best month of the year Bring on the fall oat bowls BABY. What’s your favourite month and why? Although I prefer summer heat, October is such an eventful month for me. Not only is it the month I was born, but we have thanksgiving, halloween, family birthdays and anniversaries...so much to celebrate! Plus all my favourite colours that make my morning walks and cottage trips so much more beautiful. I just love it. PS this bowl is oats, cinnamon, syrup, chocolate chips, banana and apple

I’ve been receiving so many wonderful messages lately that I just had to share a few. Knowing I’m making even a tiny difference in someone’s life brings me so much joy, and these reminders always seem to come into my life when I need them the most. You motivate me. You inspire me. You remind me why I chose this. So for that, I thank you Let’s keep going on this journey together. Let’s keep flourishing.

Some days it just catches up with you. And today, I am tired. The back and forth between houses, the living out of my car and out of bags, the 10 minute commute that became 1 hour. The schedule and routine change, the never having enough time. I’m tired. I grew up going back and forth between houses. No complaints, I was grateful to be able to do that so easily. But now, I am tired. And I don’t want to live out of bags. It’s been catching up with me lately as Ryan and I a...re trying to adjust to raising a puppy but both living at our family homes. Right now our home goals are not possible. The frustration has been catching up with me and it’s coming out in many ways. We’ve been trying to figure out how to better the situation, and my mental health. Our options are limited due to personal preference, which means this is a stepping stone to get us to where we need and want to be. And today, I am tired. What do we do through times like these? All I can say is- support. Ryan knows it’s harder for me. He is more than understanding, and is doing whatever he can to make it easier for me. The other day we were driving up north and I was really going through it. I was mad, negative, frustrated and annoyed with the world. The week caught up with me. He was tired too, and could have easily snapped back. After a long ride of silence, he grabbed my hand and said let’s play a game. What are you feeling grateful for? Then asked let’s name one thing we love about each other. Then said let’s name our favourite things about Luna. It’s okay to be tired. It’s okay to be mad and frustrated. It’s okay to feel like the world is against you at times. If you’re in a situation that doesn’t work for you, you’re not stuck there. And if it’s a situation that you get to be in for the time being- be surrounded by people who will only support you and lift you up when you’re feeling down. See more

Hope you all find some time this weekend to put the phone, laptop, email and work to the side. Give your brain a break and just be. That’s my plan! Happy Weekend

Oops more cookies! But it’s Friday, and you deserve to look at these chocolate chip cookies. You also deserve to eat them. I found the recipe on google. I didn’t hold back, change ingredients to be lower cal, or make less satisfying cookies just because cookies are ‘bad.’ I made normal chocolate chip cookies because I love them, the kids love them, they smell good and they make people happy. Wishing you all a beautiful weekend. What are you doing that makes you happy? I’ll be up at my cottage with ry and the pup, hopefully going to get some podcast episodes recorded as well. Let me know what you’re up to I love ya! PS- I still love healthy alternative recipes. Prefer them actually! But I make those when I want to. Not when I feel like I HAVE to.

I remember when it was Smile Cookie time at Tim Hortons 3 years ago. I was craving one all week- we know how much I love cookies! However, that voice wasn’t allowing me to go get one because they’re ‘unhealthy’ and will ‘go against everything I’m working towards.’ I remember thinking well they’re for charity and they’re really good, so maybe on Friday it can be my treat. I waited all week and planned for that one cookie. Friday I spent the day doing a long cardio based work...out plus a run, barely ate all day and gloated about how I’ll be getting my treat tonight. On Sunday, Ryan and I realized it’s the last day to get smile cookies. I woke up and said let’s take Luna on a walk and get some breakfast and cookies at Tims. People look at me like I’m crazy when I get all excited about walking my dog on a sunday morning. Something that is so normal to many. There are so many moments that ED has robbed me of. But my transformations throughout the past couple of years have allowed me to appreciate these ‘every day’ experiences more than I could have ever imagined. Remember, we’re not put on this earth to lose weight and live in constant stress. See more

Did you know we’re born with only TWO natural fears? Falling & loud noises. That’s it. Everything else is LEARNED throughout life, and it’s up to you to determine how you handle them. I’ve come to realize that my major ‘indecisive-ness’ is not just me being an indecisive, reliant person. Actually, I’m extremely independent and easygoing and I can make decisions for myself. It’s actually the fear of the unknown that is creeping up there. It’s the fear of making the ‘wrong’ ...decision and causing problems for myself and others, which then triggers the fear of judgement and confrontation. But these are just fears that we have convinced ourselves of. These fears create assumptions as to how the world will react to our every move. Did you know it’s a proven fact that 85% of the things we fear and worry about don’t actually happen? We as individuals need to decide how to face these fears. Are you going to let them overpower you, or are you going to face them? Here’s the thing about decisions: there is no such this as a wrong decision. Now don’t get me wrong, there are smart and not so smart choices that we make throughout life. These are a part of our growth and development and are just another stepping stone to get us to where we need to be. Whenever you’re faced with a difficult choice and you feel fear kicking in, I want you to ask yourself this: what’s the worst that can happen? It will either work in your favour or it won’t. And if it doesn’t, you gain a lesson from it and you can take that with you throughout your next venture. That is how the successful mindset works. Remember: danger is real, fear is a choice. Keep going. See more

So- which mindset are you? When things go wrong do you give up and assume it’s not meant for you? Or do you trust your passions and setbacks, and use them for growth, lessons and improvement? Remember my people, good things never come from comfort zones. You never know what opportunity is waiting for you
