You learn something new every day! Today a customer brought me an empty plate, a lovely lady had made her amazing butter tarts and given them to her on this plate. She said that her grandmother always said you cant return an empty plate so she asked me to make an arrangement in it so she could return it. Well I had never heard that! I love it, makes sense. So I did, and we added a few mint smoothies too. I love when someone passes along a lesson, a whole new meaning to paying it forward. Today is a very big day at The Flower Shop and More! It is our 14th Anniversary!! Yes, 14 years ago today my life changed a lot! Fourteen years ago today my good friend Linda agreed to "hang around a little longer" - thank God! We have made it through so much! A recession, downtown reconstruction, technology, a pandemic and so so many important things in our personal lives. The one thing that has remained constant is that we have done it all Together! I am beyond grateful to ...my family, my customers, my friends but mostly to this lady. She is so talented, so calm, so kind and the hardest working person I know.
