In conjunction with local punk provocateur Colin Brunton, I’m happy to be selling prints of these two beauties courtesy of renowned artist Rick Trembles. The first is the movie poster for the excellent The Last Pogo Jumps Again, a film that revisits punk rock’s last stand at the Horseshoe in 1978. The second is Toronto circa 1977 when it was a global hotspot for DIY punk (ignited by the Ramones in 1976). LOOK AT ALL THOSE VENUES!! Head on over to www.theflyervault.com to check these out along with other legendary prints (and my book co-written with Professor Rob Bowman). As always shipping is FREE anywhere in Canada!

Toronto and The Stones have always had a love affair since they first played here in 1965. In 1994 they were in Toronto for several weeks rehearsing for their Voodoo Lounge world tour. It’s neat to look back and see Mick and the boys club-hopping on King West. Who remembers Milano?

Who else remembers this Oasis big band/small club show? I was there and it was awesome seeing the Brothers Gallagher at the Kool Haus back in 2005

CNE Summer of ‘82. These are all amazing shows but I would’ve loved to see all three Wilsons on stage at that BB show (Dennis died later that year)
