I'm all ready and excited to welcome my clients back today! I've missed you all

The Front Room 24.10.2020

Hi everyone! The announcement was just made that salons can open June 5th however it looks like the possible opening for daycares is not until June 15th. My husband is still working full time which means we don't have child care. Unfortunately this means I won't be opening until June 15th. I will start calling to book everyone for June 15th or later based on the order clients were canceled. I'll work through my list as quickly as possibly. Hang in there and you'll be hearing from me soon!!!

Hi everyone. Here's a little update for you. We still haven't been told a date as to when we can open our salons again. We were told to start preparing so I suspect it will be in the next few weeks. I will call clients to book in appointments in the same order I had to cancel everyone. If you didn't have an appointment you can call or message me to be put on a list. Here are some new guidelines from the association for everyone to follow that will make your salon ...appointment a little different then what you're use to but will keep us all safe as well. I will be wearing a mask at all times and clients are required to wear one as well. You can bring your own or I will have some here for a charge of $2. I'm not permitted to have magazines or to serve beverages however you can bring your own beverage as long as you take your bottle or cup back with you when you leave. I'm required to book an extra 15 minutes between each client to give me time to disinfect and clean. When you arrive at the salon, if you see someone in my chair you are required to stay in your car until that person leaves and I disinfect. Also, when you first arrive you are required to use hand sanitizer which will be placed at the front door for you. As well I will be asking you some questions to ensure it is safe for me to continue with the appointment. This all sounds a little overwhelming at first but this will be our new norm for a while. I miss you all and I actually can't wait to see how crazy everyone's hair is. I feel like there might be some good before and after pictures coming up

Second option to hide the regrowth !! #roottouchups #saynotoboxcolor #saveyourrootsforus

I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. ...When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more. Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever! Please share and support your stylist. Help remember our hairstylist community as we stand not behind our chair right now, but united being safe through this pandemic. I've had a few clients contact me to see if I'm still taking clients amidst the Covid-19 issues. As of now I'm working my normal hours but certainly taking extra precautions. I've started using a disinfectant that contains a virucide to spray down my station, chairs, sink and any other high-touch areas, I've switched to vinyl capes that can be sprayed in between each client, I'm using disposable gloves as well as disposable coffee cups and I've removed all magazines fr...om the salon. I'm asking anyone who has traveled outside the country to reschedule their appointment for at least 14 days after you return. As well, I am advising anyone who has a weakened immune system or may be susceptible to this virus to reschedule their appointment since this is a high contact business with not a lot of room for social distancing If you decide to keep your appointment, please wash your hands before you visit or when you get here. Also, I will have plenty of toilet paper stocked in my bathroom See more

So I'm figuring out this new busy mom life and loving every minute of it! I've had some time off to spend with Emmy and now I'm back to work. My hours are a little different. I'm still working Tuesday and Wednesday 12 until 8pm and thursday 9 until 5pm. Friday will now be 9 until 2pm and I've decided to take Saturdays off. If anyone is already booked in on a Saturday I'm going to leave those appointments in there. If you're looking for an appointment you can text, email, message or call me
